Avalons Garden of Sphynx is a small cattery located in Southern
California dedicated to the love of the breed. We raise healthy,
well adjusted cats in our home. Our cats are part of our family,
they have the run of the house and their own bedroom.

If
you are looking for an aloof cat that occasionally allows you to
pet it, you don't want one of our Sphynx. Sphynx are warm,
intelligent and affectionate. They are forever curious about what
you are doing and want to participate.

will find that you can type on the computer, do housework, read
or watch TV all with a Sphynx perched on your shoulder and you
don't have to pick cat hair off your clothes when you're done!

Sphynx cats are highly entertaining, they love to play with
rubber balls and small stuffed animals. They will leap into the
air to catch crumpled pieces of paper tossed to them. This makes
paperwork almost enjoyable.
When people who have never seen a Sphynx before come to our house
they will say "ahh your cat is bald!" Then, "Oh, it feels so soft
and warm!" This is followed by the barrage of questions about
Sphynx and then finally "I want one!"
